The Jewish Connection

Imagining a New Future for Christians and Jews

March 27, 2007

Many Christians have Jewish relatives or close friends. When it comes to matters of faith, navigating relationships between Christians and Jews can sometimes feel like a mine-field, where it's hard to know a step from a misstep!

The Jewish Connection explores ways Jews and Christians can understand what we have in common, and new ways to productively relate to each other in matters of faith. The series presents the relationship between Christians and Jews as being one of mutual benefit and respect, rather than benefactor and recipient.

Dr. Stuart Dauermann of Ahavat Zion Messianic Synagogue in Beverly Hills will facilitate this 4-week series of teaching and interaction geared to understanding and addressing the challenges and opportunities Jews and Christians encounter relating to each other and the purposes of God.

  1. Week 1 - Aristotle, O.J. and You: Toward Rebuilding Trust
  2. Week 2 - The Emerging Paradigm: Redefining the Relationship Between Christians and Jews.
  3. Week 3 - When the Gospel is and Is Not Good News for the Jewish People
  4. Week 4 - Intermarriage: An Entirely Different Problem for Jews and Gentiles - With a Survey of Proposed Approaches.
There is no cost for this series. However, some books and audio related to the sessions will be available for purchase.
